Begonia 'Escargot'

This is one of the famous begonias that you cannot miss.
Begonia 'Escargot' has a beautiful spiral feature hence it's name.

It is a sensitive on it's fuzzy, hairy leaves - sort of too big for the plant to handle
hence it will fall limp if dehydrated but also succumb to root rot if to wet.

Their colors are not so vibrant or strong like Begonia 'Hurricane'
but I believe this one has big showy leaves especially when it grows big.

The identify and maintain the correct balance is very crucial for this begonia.

I had noticed that this one has close similarities with Begonia 'China Curl'.
I believe both are very alike.

UPDATED: MAY 2020

I had noticed these cultivated in a nursery - the foliage however looks so spend.
After cultivating this particular begonia for few months, it slowly started to drop off its leaves and died away.

I didn't replace and follow-up with this one until I figure out how to cultivate this one properly.
