Star Begonia / Begonia heracleifolia Cham. & Schltdl. (Round Furry Red Petioles)

This particular Begonia heracleifolia is known for the large Mexican rhizomatous species. Firstly identified in 1830 in few Begonia Societies and hence many varieties and hybrids been discovered and created - however they all are generally labelled as a Star Begonia with a general Begonia heracleifolia species name.

The Main Characteristics here I want to emphasise is the Yellow Green Foliage with specially the Red round furry Petioles. The leaves can grow huge and in star shaped features. This one does not have any black coloration on its leaves. The other counterpart has yellow furry petioles.
