Episcia Collection - Lemon Aide

You would think that this is a picture was edited but I assure you that it is not. This is the actual prove to show that the plant is facing a battle of supremacy of which parentage wins the battle and their dominant characteristics will show on their bloom.

Lemon aide cultivar appears to have similar foliage pattern with faded jade but much more in subtle softer notes of light green and furrier. This one is not hardy and a slow grower and therefore care and attention is required.

Another factor is the floral can also take place in a mix coloration of both yellow and red - here it is more like a spotted / splashed orange.

Exposed to hot direct sun can burn the foliage surface and so do take note to place them only in bright shaded area. Other than that, this one is somewhat manageable to grow without much hassle.

I'm showing how this episcia is taking turns in morphing the coloration of the blooms from yellow to red to orange - Interesting to see how the plant is taking their respective turns in changing bloom colors.
