Sapodilla Tree - (Manilkara zapota)

I got this fruit tree in a small stem cutting root bound plant for about RM10.00. It took me few years for it to fruit. It is more famously known by locals as "ciku".

I have removed this tree and placed in various location for better sunlight and growth. Finally I decided to place it inside my porch area. I had eaten this fruit and its very juicy and sweet.

Tips:
Need to watch out for ants farming the mealy bugs. They infest the bud tips and fruits.
The saps from the leaves are gummy, care is required when pruning.
