Begonia 'Arabian Sunset' VS Begonia 'Burning Bush' (Side by Side Comparison)

CHARACTERISTICS:

One of the dark foliage types of begonias - this particular one is all burgundy / bronze / red lacquered - whichever terms of colorations you want to mention it these tones fully covers the whole leaves through both front and back. Very few begonias measures to this style of colorations namely Begonia Torch and Begonia Burning Bush

Just to list for comparison sake:
Begonia 'Arabian Sunset' - has furry surface like spider on the foliage surface, leaves appears to have scallops like folds around the leaf perimeter

Begonia 'Burning Bush' - had exactly the same coloration however the foliage appears to be bigger, rounder and very much like a fan shaped in comparison

Begonia 'Serratipetala' appears to have a miniature version of Begonia 'Arabian Sunset' with pink dots on the leaf surface.

MISNOMER: Begonia 'Linda Dawn'

There have been a misnomer ID where another name been used only by vendors mis-identifying both Begonia 'Arabian Sunset' and Begonia 'Burning Bush'

Begonia 'Arabian Sunset' do tend to grow big when given optimum conditions to grow. Somehow it can grow quite large as the size of Begonia 'Burning Bush' that adds to that confusion when it comes to ID

You will find that the name: Begonia 'Linda Dawn' been used for both of these two begonias simultaneously

Thanks for comparison. Are they grown in same conditions? Is one easier to care for than another? Which do you like better? Thanks. - Bob. USA

Hi Bob,
I think I like the Arabian Sunset better as it has more appearance in its features in comparison - I would say, both are very similar with each other in plant care and needs.
