Garden Landscaping: Aquatic Set-Up Features

Here showcasing the details and miniature features.
There is a lot of drama and story to tell in each frame to enjoy and cherish.

Garden Landscaping - Aquatic Set-Up

I would say this is a little oasis in the midst of the garden.
The green aquatic set-up is both visual and practical in this garden application.
Somehow, its more cooler and greener when it come to this space.

I had mentioned a lot in my earlier post concerning this garden theme.
Once thing for sure, something as alive as this is constantly changing
and improving and regenerating into another progress level.
I'm pretty sure the whole design layout will constantly change over months time.
It would be definitely more richer, fuller and expanded with life.

The papyrus collection is really amazing here as they really show off their crowns.
There are few different various aquatic species introduce in this collection here.

Elephant Ears took awhile to stabilise and give out new leaves.
Some species are yet to jump start from dormancy but I believe the danger zone is over.
Its more for them to start growing and thriving.

Here placed Earthstars to stretch itself and grow unrestricted. So far they are doing fine.
There are various types here - more to add to the collection.

I have added a singular feature of a Japanese pot to give a feature design of a blue flower.
Indeed its more foliage than floral - A representation of ceramic visual will break the common rules that not all flowers are required to be of an organic material.

Likewise
Breaking the rules barrier of opposites:
Here features another ceramic figurine that features as an aquatic feline.
A rare occurance to mark the beauty of mystery and miniature details.

Here is another hidden feature of a wooden frog upon a grinding stone.
The miniature Caladium builds the visual contrast.

The other pictures below are the collection of the oasis in 360 degrees of arrayed plants featuring this theme for your viewing pleasure.

Finally, the extended view of this aquatic set-up with the Water Pond in a seamless harmony.
This indicate serenity and no major clash as when there are too many water features input can actually break the subtle harmony in the making.

Here they all correspond in their unique placement and design.

Garden Landscaping - Succulent Collection

This is after a month progress.
I realised that I had reset few more succulents here which been purchased recently
but was not able to update the pictures.

Regardless,
this would be a nice database to follow-up the growth progress of most plants
and set-up as I know by experience -
Garden always change for the better.

My greatest fears where crown rot and sudden death due to stress and unable to cope as most succulents are temperamental - they can suddenly die without warning.
It takes a month for it to stable and so far so good - they managed to survive this far.

The watering in this set-up is much easier as the surface is much wider and deeper
as the water stability is good for this set up.

These are new purchases which later been rearranged into the combination pot groups.

Garden Landscaping - Bromeliads Update

It amazing to see the growth progress and the plants development here.
Its about a month now and this space looks amazingly colourful and vibrant.
The array of bromeliads are showcase here in side angle where the crown is more visible this give strong indication where you can visually enjoy each of them.

There is another risk here which needs to be guarded carefully that they don't overcrowd and overwhelm choking each other, but then I realised that bromeliads are slow growing plants and it may take months to a year to really see the major growth of the second and the third generation.

Even if they grow, it will be a cascading feature which is a sight to behold

Below is a selection of plants that give a feature.
This is a grandstand showcase of all the plants that shine in collective grouping.
Here the colour tones are slightly correspond to each other
where the green monotones are in variation and at the same time stand out in it's individuality.

The red and pink plays a strong underlining colour here to divide the borders giving each plant a story to tell. Here the Caladium and Bromeliads are considered rare and prized items are they mark the superiority within the monotone majority.

This exclusively marks another unseen theme where hidden visual theme is carefully embedded together with the succulent collection which is grouped together in combinations of Aloes, Echeverias and Haworthia sp.

One of the greatest challenge in keeping a Caladium is that they are temporary and may go dormant in few months time. And so, regular checking and feeding is prior importance as there are always a new leaf spike to replace the dried ones.

Here are the individual single collection of bromeliads for viewing pleasure.

I had found that a curve works better than a straight line.
The composition is more smooth and stronger and pleasing to the eyes.
The strength of colours are eased with volume of height and density of the clay jars and pots.
One doesn't overwhelm the other.
I really love the feature here - clean, strong & balanced.

Also in staggering levels
Succulent pots are layered as they do not overwhelm one another.
