CHARACTERISTICS:
This Rex Begonia is not very brilliant with colors - mainly you will find the red tones are totally omitted unlike most Rex Begonia where the red tones at the back leaf is very prominent - this one however has none.
The color/tones are repetitive where the center and the border edges are of the same color with the mid band are of silver tones. The foliage appear to be oval and grows generously big.

Often planted around shaded area where it receives good humidity.
These begonias do well growing together with different types in a colony based condition. Here Begonia - U309 is growing together as a companion plant.
Here it is the appearance of how easily this is grown as low-land shrub begonia where as you can notice the thick moss growth - denotes the damp and high humidity factor. Often this situation occurs along drain side area. This gives the idea how well this types of begonias adapt to the wet and humid conditions.
