Episcia Collection - Thad's Cheetah

This particular silver bronze type has more broader leaf shape in comparison to chocolate solider. I thought this might be a sensitive type but realized that it can handle lowland climate well.

The leaf coloration becomes more darker when placed in shade.
In comparison both - top & bottom where the difference due to light expose.

Here, I'm comparing it with Chocolate Soldier which is on the left. The difference is very slight and may take awhile to really identify the variations. One key factor is Thad's Cheetah has sweet pink tones with wider silver base at the center. The colors are more fuzzy compared to C.S where it is more refined and bright.

I have found this plant is hardy and easy to grow well in lowland hot climate.

Here Thad's Cheetah is placed together on a vertical wall together with Faded Jade in bright sun.
