Golden Hahnii - Sansevieria trifasciata

Common names: Golden Hahnii (Sansevieria trifasciata) ,
Goodluck Plant or Bird's Nest Snake Plant.

This one is excellent for small pots. The plant grows very slowly so, chances of the offsprings or division to arrive may take few months.

Very different from the mother in law plant which is a tall plant and fast growing.
This one remains small. I had passed a plant to a friend and she kept it indoors. Surprisingly hers turned to fully green with all the yellows missing. I guess the sunlight is required to keep the yellow pigment going. I guess the plant changes colour as it grows.

TIPS:

1) Too much water may kill the plant, so water less as possible.
2) Do great in contrast colour gardening especially with Purple Queen.
3) Though this plant is quite hardy, the leaves are fragile as they can snap and break if knock accidentally as they are not flexible (especially the pointed corners)
4) Important to use soil mix which is well drainage. (good portion of sand is better)

This is an aloe family, still hoping that it will grow and fill up the pot.
