Thank you Mr James. I bought my first begonia a few months back which i have now found out is a burning bush begonia. Had no idea of the ID during purchase. It has grown so beautifully and I was really surprised that it was so cheap at RM8 a pot. I see people sharing all those pictures of expensive plants nowadays and yes, they are really beautiful too but there's a special kind of pleasure that can be derived from such an inexpensive plant that is equally captivating.
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing. You are a treasure trove of knowledge on plants.
Hello, Thank you so much for your lovely comment. I truly understand what you mean - sometimes it is not so much of the value of the plant price rather - it is the beauty and the wonder of gardening and enjoying the plants while growing them. Thank you for sharing your experience and your joy of gardening.
ReplyDeleteReally appreciate your kind thoughts.
Mine is growing very tall & thriving but has not produced a single flower this year! What's wrong with it?
ReplyDeletePatty,
ReplyDeleteMany factors, It may need flowering fertiliser, good sunlight or perhaps that particular cultivar rarely blooms, very difficult to determine.
As long as your plant is healthy and thriving - thats a big deal as these can suddenly wither and die.
