I had added more begonias in my collection recently
and I want to list their ID and updates on their behavior and growth pattern.
This one is known as Begonia 'Silver King'
The appearance looks similar with other silver lining types of begonias
but this however has more vibrant, brilliant appearance.
This one was a bit tricky.
I had almost mistaken this with another one, this however is a Rex Begonia.
The foliage however appears to be brilliant and sturdy.
These upright version seemed to be doing well and perhaps can be considered as a hardy plant.
I find that the leaf shape formation does change as the plant grows bigger.
This one is rounder and the mature one has sharp point at the bottom.
I realized that the underside has a different feature, here is totally of the same coloration.
Pretty sure its not of a great importance - however it's interesting to note this feature.Begonia Common Names and Images
Here is the link where I had put together a list of all the begonias that I had come across. A database of all the different types & their characteristics. Please click on the link on the title above for the post.
