Begonia Rex 'China Curl'

Begonias can be such a mystery or can also be close to a menace when it comes to it's names an ID. This is a Rex Begonia, I was very confident that this would have been from the Escargot species.
It amazes me that they all not properly classified based on leaf formation.

This has a curly center, almost heart shaped.
I'm not too keen in keeping up with specific foliage description when these information are readily available in the many plant websites.

One of the outstanding feature is the black & white foliage formation.
The white foliage has the silver sheen that gleams when observed in bright light.

I had this before but it didn't survive. Hopefully the second trial works out.
Rex Begonias seemed to be a sensitive type. They don't handle well when stressed.

Here is the link where I had put together a list of all the begonias that I had come across. A database of all the different types & their characteristics. Please click on the link on the title above for the post.
