Begonia conchifolia var. Rubrimacula / Begonia 'Zip'


CHARACTERISTICS:

Begonia conchifolia var. rubrimacula also known as Begonia 'Zip' is a native begonia from Central America region. The leaves are in a circular shape in dark green color with red dot in the center. This is a rhizome begonia grows in a compact form with white flowers arching above the foliage growth.

It can easily mistaken for a peperomia plant due to the foliage and dense growth structure. Younger leaves appear to be in lighter - in lime colored feature with the striking red dot.
