How to Care & Cultivate Calathea Plants (video)

These are the Collection of the Calathea species that I had managed to cultivate.
I used to have a lot more but they had died over time due to overwatering and were not suitable for growing conditions.

Here in this Collection:
Calathea lancifolia - Rattlesnake Plant,
Calathea roseopicta "Dottie",
Calathea roseopicta "Rosy",
Calathea Zebrina,
Stromanthe Triostar,

I also cultivated other plants in this combination set-up to give it a good diversity factor - also adds more color and dimension in this planting setup.

Philodendron Mican,
Algoanema Siam Aurora,
Dieffenbachia 'Compacta',

Few Tips that I would like to mention:
1) Always keep the rootball tight and pot-bound
2) Do not over pot
3) Don't over water as it can cause root rot or crown rot
4) These are bright shade loving plants that loves high humidity
5) Be cautious in using heavy chemicals on them as they can get burned tips on the leaves edges.
