I have a similar one known as Begonia Speculata.
That one is amazingly robust and hardy.
It grew like wildfire and I can literally take it for granted that it can grow so well without any care.
The foliage size appear to be much smaller and dense compared to speculata.
I wish I can say the same for this one.
This however falls more on the sensitive side.
The foliage is very showy, the appearance have more fashion than the speculata
but I'm guessing both are totally different.
This one has a sweet appearance of metallic silver pink spots with embedded lime green veins.
The contrast is truly remarkable.
This is my many trial and error and
so far this plant is appearing to be much stable now in the mop-wick medium.
I'm hopeful that this plant can be a keeper.
Here is the link where I had put together a list of all the begonias that I had come across. A database of all the different types & their characteristics. Please click on the link on the title above for the post.
