The challenge here was more of removing all the plants and placing them in their respective zones. Most of the plants had overgrown and had become invasive especially philodendron species.
The Butterfly pea had scattered its seeds everywhere and weeding them is also considered a challenge as they had embedded its roots deep into the nooks and corner and uprooting them can be futile.
I had temporarily placed all of the plants here while sorting out the pond region.
I plan to do this set-up by removing everything and see what is the best visual concept for this space.
There is a lot of mono-tone green plants that give a good background colour support
but not good for feature dynamics to give that strong visual effects.Mostly these are green coloured bromeliads commonly known
as Flaming Torch (Billbergia pyramidalis)
Pond Region (After Clearing)
This is the view after everything is cleared.
I have not removed the fox-tail palm tree that is growing here as it gives a strong feature for this zone. Also the Moses Boat Plant that gives an excellent colouration in their leaves underside.
The purple colouration will give a strong opposite colour code for yellow or cream coloured foliage making this an impactful space.
