Garden Landscaping - Alocasia sp.

There is a huge collection on this type.
Even the main generia has many classes - here I'm just showcasing on the context of colours, texture and beauty rather than the species identification.
There is indeed a mix of classes here as some fall in alocasia family, some colocasia and its specific classes.

There is one factor though.
Compared to Caladium species - these types do not go dormant.
And the beauty about them is that they can get rather huge with good TLC.
The other factor is their difference can be very slight and may be unobserved.
Some are aquatic, thrives better in a bog environment ot perhaps can tolerance variety of conditions.
It is still a subject of study and not much had been documented about them for easy access.

This can be Black Coral or its hybrid.
One of the things I love about these types are their ability to retain dark black coloured leaves without the usual green pigments in their leaves.

Considering some plants unlike some variegated types
which tend to isolate and reject the variegated leaf setting
or go back to the original non-variegated structure.
Proving the challenge that some new variegated types
newly introduced in the market may not be stable.
