Begonia - Black Knight

One of the most disturbing thing about begonias is: Taking them for granted.
This Black Knight was doing so well in shade together with a few others here in this spot had all but gone due to a cat fight which had shredded the whole thing into pieces.
They never recovered.

It really broke my heart as I had not managed to separate or propagate new spares.
Now these are gone. I managed to purchase a new one as I found one sold in the market.

This one purchased together with Chivalry.
This Black Knight is still dark shining in bright shaded area.
Still fairly new and yet sprout out any new leaves yet.

Again, I just marvel at the shining, shimmering types.
My soft spot for  Black Velvet Begonias...
Still looking high and low for them.

Till then..
My Knight in shining amour..continue to shine..
My Black Beauty.

Updates on 18th Nov
It has been about 2 months and this begonia is still doing strong.
Though some of the leaves had aged gracefully, I had refrained myself from trimming off the foliage.

And of course,
Some new growth to enjoy.
I really love this one as I would say, this is a hardy begonia.
